Are appointments offered in person?
MedSuao currently provides services through secure telehealth. Information about future in-person services will be announced when available.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Most insurance-based appointments are scheduled through Rocío’s public Headway profile. Patients using First Health Network or TRICARE East—and patients seeking self-pay care—should call MedSuao at (786) 745-6500 so the appropriate direct workflow can be confirmed.
What happens during an initial evaluation?
Rocío reviews your current concerns, relevant psychiatric and medical history, medications, and safety considerations, then discusses diagnostic impressions and an individualized treatment plan.
Does an appointment guarantee a prescription?
No. An appointment provides a professional psychiatric evaluation and recommendations. A diagnosis, prescription, controlled medication, letter, or specific treatment is never guaranteed.
How should I send forms, insurance cards, or medical information?
Use only the secure portal link provided during scheduling. Do not send medical records, insurance-card images, or payment-card information through ordinary email, website messages, or text messages.
Are self-pay appointments available?
Yes. Initial psychiatric evaluations and medication-management follow-ups are available for direct self-pay. Fees and the written Good Faith Estimate are confirmed before the appointment.
